The main active ingredient of Claritin is loratadine, which belongs to the class of antihistamines. • Lactose monohydrate is a filler that improves the taste and texture of the tablets.
• Magnesium stearate - serves as an anti-sticking agent, which helps maintain the shape and structure of the tablets.
• Corn starch - is used as a binder and ensures uniform distribution of the active component in the tablet.

How to use?

To achieve the best effect, it is important to follow the Claritin regimen correctly. The drug is taken orally, regardless of food intake. It is important to wash down the tablet with a sufficient amount of water. The dosage and duration of the course may vary depending on the patients age and the severity of allergic symptoms.

1. Adults and children over 12 years old are recommended to take 10 mg (one tablet) once a day.
2. Children aged 2 to 12 years weighing more than 30 kg can also be given 10 mg once a day. If the childs weight is less than 30 kg, half the dose is recommended - 5 mg once a day.
3. Persons with impaired liver or kidney function may need a dose adjustment, so consult a doctor before starting treatment.
